Letting Go...?

Is there a difference between letting things go and being fake?

If you let something go without truly resolving the issue at hand.....are you really over it? Or is it in the back of your mind, weighing heavy on your heart while you smile like everything is alright?

I wish I had the answers to these questions.

Im not the type to hold on to bad feelings. Im always the one encouraging everyone to make up and get along...but this time...this time is different.

Im hurt. I've seen sides of people close to me that I never fathomed existed.

And now...now everyone is acting like things are back to normal.

Am I a bitch for thinking that they will never be normal again?

Am I horrible for not wanting them to be after the things I've seen?

  1. Nope. You shouldn't forget the things others have done to hurt you, it leaves you open for attack again. And if you cannot forgive them without ignoring that hurt, it may mean their actions against you were too serious to just sweep under the carpet. Tell them how you feel, or move on. Life is too short to live under false pretences. X

No, you're not a bitch for feeling this way. It sounds like the people you're speaking of might be too immature to be together. Sometimes we say things that we don't mean when we're angry, but unfortunately things can also be taken too far. This sounds like the case right here. A couple that I know fight constantly. It's frustrating to see them be on the edge of a breakup and then suddenly they're sprouting unicorns and rainbows out of their asses. Honestly, after the things that I've seen I think they shouldn't be together. Maybe you feel the same way about this person/people you're talking about?

Hope you have a lovely weekend, girlie :)

You're definetly not a bitch for feeling that way. I go through the same things. Now, I just take the road of forgiving and forgetting; whether the issue is resolve or not. Sometimes people need to lose you as a friend (or whatever) to realize what they've done - and if they don't, then they didn't deserve you in their life in the 1st place
